Will ÂKalyanaraman be remade?

Director G N R Kumaravelan, who came to limelight with ÂNinaithaley InikkumÂ, has expressed his desire to remake ÂKalyanaraman and ÂAduthaathu AlbertÂ, both directed by his father G N Rangarajan.
Eagerly expecting the release of ÂYuvan YuvathiÂ, the Bharath starrer, he says, ÂRemake is the trend now. I would like to add value to the above films with the help of present day technology.Â
Saying that the originality of old films should not be spoiled, Kumaravelan adds: ÂThose involved in remakes should have in mind that they are reworking a landmark film and the essence should be maintained.Â
On ÂYuvan YuvathiÂ, he says, ÂIt is a youthful entertainer. Bharath has given his best and we have shot the film extensively in abroad countries. The movie will see the light of the day soon.Â
